It was a beautiful celebration in Markovina, even though rainy day wedding, Sarah and Paul enjoyed their special day with their two little ones, close friends and family, such a special event in West Auckland and pleasure for me to be their chosen photographer to document all important moments through the day.

Day started in the Auckland City hotel QT at Viaduct with ladies getting ready through travel to Markovina Vineyard Estate with rainy ceremony {lucky venue have a cover option for couples}, couples and bridal party shoot under umbrellas and fun reception celebration.

The Hunting Lodge: Eric and Nono {Auckland wedding photographers}

It was such a beautiful sunny winter day at The Hunting Lodge {Waimauku} where Eric & Nono celebrated their special day surrounded by close friends and family. Such amazing time for us, Auckland wedding photographers, to capture so many beautiful, emotional and real moments!

Couple shared their story: "t was July 7 2016 during a mid year getaway at Raglan. After a home cooked dinner we were relaxing and watching Chocolat starring Johnny Depp. My (Eric) heart was racing and I could barely focus (not because of Johnny Depp…). One hour in I asked Nono to grab another cider from the fridge. She was cosy and did not want to leave the sofa. Thankfully I won the most clutch round of paper scissors rock of my life and she reluctantly went. I had hidden the engagement ring in the fridge next to the drinks and coincidentally, the engagement ring box resembled a small box of chocolate. Thinking it was a welcome gift from our airbnb host she pranced around the room in excitement! She brought it over and was not keen on sharing the "chocolate". I told her that I should open it for her, got on one knee, muttered a few sentences while trying to maintain my composure and proposed to her. I picked the date July 7 so it’d be easy to remember, 07-07." Such a romantic tale!

West Auckland - Cassels: Kim and Nathaniel {New Zealand wedding photographers}

We spent amazing time in West Auckland at Cassels where Kim & Nathaniel celebrated their special day with their friends and family. We as New Zealand wedding photographers been so excited to capture candid, natural and emotional moments, with a documentary approach.

Matt, my associate photographer, together with Melissa did a fantastic job with photographing this beautiful wedding in such challenging rainy conditions, but even rain can't stand on the way of warm and cosy celebration in Cassels with a photo shoot at Bethells Beach.

The couple shared their love story: "We've been together 4 and a half years, we met online although we've since come across many times our paths must've crossed before we met. We work together in our own business so spend most of our time together - we're a real team". The proposal was: "On the shores of Lake Wakatipu (Queenstown) - I knew it was coming, but he managed to catch me off guard with when he did it".

Ming and Billie: Hedingham {Coatesville} - West Auckland wedding photographer - Forest Weddings

Amazing time with beautiful people - Ming & Billie who come all way over from Hong Kong to Hedingham {Coatesville, West Auckland, New Zealand} to get officially married, surrounded by few friends. As a wedding photographer, I love to capture such intimate weddings, usually warm and cosy events.

We started from a wedding ceremony in Hedingham, such a gorgeous old style building with fantastic land that has plenty of photo opportunities. Then move to Redwood Forest and come back to finish the day at the fabulous reception!

The couple shared their love story: "We have been together for almost four years. We first met at a boat party in 2011, but we didn't keep contact afterwards. We met again at a Xmas party in 2013 then we got very close and decided to be together." The proposal: "There was not a proper proposal, but the idea of getting married came naturally to us. ...Through the process of preparing the wedding ceremony and stuff, we have come to realise this is what we want to do because we share the commitment of loving each other for a lifetime." Such a romantic story!

Gorgeous people, warm and cosy atmosphere, fantastic location - it's all about Jazz & Tim wedding at Gracehill Vineyard Estate {West Auckland, New Zealand} - near Kumeu - Waimauku where we, couple's wedding photographers had an opportunity to capture such special moments and dance away with emotional music.

The couple shared their love story: "Our meeting was by chance, which turned into an uninvited facebook request, several posts back & forth and eventually a Christmas in the park date." They are six years together, and the proposal was made at "the Empire State Building, during a holiday in the USA", such romantic place, it might be unforgettable!

Bethells Lake {West Auckland} engagement | pre-wedding photo shoot {New Zealand weddings photographers}

Fantastic time with Kim & Nathaniel on their engagement | pre-wedding photo shoot at Bethells Lake {West Auckland, New Zealand}. We met with couple one Saturday afternoon just before the sunset not far from the beach, walk through the forest, sand dunes to the lake, had fun and laugh and then walk all the way back to the car park through the stream.

Amazing time with gorgeous people! It was a pleasure to get to know the couple before we as photographers capture their wedding {not long to go now! less than two months!}

Fantastic time with Jackie and Matt on their engagement session on beautiful Auckland West Coast Beach and Karekare Falls. It is just a gorgeous couple of beautiful souls. It was a real pleasure for me, an Auckland wedding photographer to capture so unique for couple moments on their pre-wedding photo shoot.

Couples love story started on the beach. Jackie shared their sweet memories: "We met through a friend on the beach, we've been together ever since that day! " Proposal was made "In Gum Boots after he was finishing chopping up wood, he said a little speech, got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. " Such a great and romantic story!

Our wedding season start rolling with Susannah & Jayden's wedding in Waitakere Estate {West Auckland, New Zealand}, where couple spend time with close friends and families in such picturesque surroundings. 

Jayden shared couple's love story:

"Susannah and I worked at the same company but never saw each other. One day we we're separately called into a group meeting, once Susannah started talking I was mesmerised. A few months later I moved onto the same floor and kept saying hello, eventually she said hello back and the rest is history." I love how was made a proposal: "I proposed as per Indian tradition; I asked her father for permission, then took Susannah to India to share the celebration with her family."

It was amazing wedding with beautiful and romantic atmosphere, full of positive moments, laugh and relaxed atmosphere.

Such a  great start of the season!
