It was a pleasure to shoot this small Castaways wedding with mix of Indian traditions when Meera and Tom who come all the way from Ireland celebrated their special day with close friends and family. The venue is a stunning location in Auckland with amazing views overlooking the ocean and rocks, such a dream for any couples and for me as their photographer!
Couple shared their story: “We met in a pub in Ireland while I was on my OE , and we’ve been together for 5 years. I’ve moved to Ireland since meeting Tom, so I’m happy to home for the wedding!” He proposed “On a beach which we had our first date on”. What a romantic story!
Even though it was very rainy on their wedding day, it can’t stop this beautiful celebration!

Exciting times in New Zealand - with couples allowed to enter the country after Covid lockdowns, more travels and elopements became real, like this one with Anna and Devin who come all the way from Germany to get married on Piha Beach {Auckland}.
Amazing and romantic event that is a pleasure to photograph for me - wedding and family photographer, such a beautiful moments and memories that will be treasured forever.

Castaways is a perfect location for a wedding! Thats what Robert and Pei chose for their celebration with close friends: ceremony on top of a stunning hill above the beach and reception in a restaurant with amazing views, one of the best in Auckland! Its such a pleasure to see couples and their family and capture all important moments for years to come, to be their wedding photographer!
We met with this beautiful people on their engagement session {check out their pre-wedding photo shoot highlights in our Blog!}.
Couple shared their story: “We met at work and bonded over several on call shifts together, team dinners/events and mutual friends/colleagues hangs. We eventually really got to spend some quality time together at a close mutual friend's birthday party and really bonded over our shared culture, interests, faith and upbringing. It just felt so organic and simple from the get go and we really hit it off from there. We would have been together just over 2 years by the time of our wedding.” The proposal: “I had very elaborate plans I was contemplating but the ring I bought was made available to me much much earlier than anticipated and I just couldn't wait to start our lives together and I knew we both felt ready for it. We have a joint day off on Waitangi day and the weather was great, Pei planned a day of hiking, beaches and cafes and I figured this would be the best way to catch her by surprise. We eventually spent the afternoon lying on the sand at Castor Bay in a secluded part of the beach and I knew this was the place. There were some minor highjinks but we got there in the end”. :)

Such a beautiful moments on this French Bay wedding where Diane & Jared celebrated their special moments with kids, family and friends. Couple shared their story: “We have been together 21 years and engaged for 8 years. This has been a long time coming. Diane was 17 and Jared was 18 when we got together. It was a typical teen romance that evolved as we have grown and now with our three children in tow.” The proposal: “The proposal was a surprise for Diane, even after 12 years. We had taken a weekend away to the Coromandel together and Diane planned it all with a detour to Cathedral Cove. Jared thought it the perfect time to catch me unaware and got down on one knee to propose.”
It was a wonderful day full of love and laughter.

The day was just magical with warm and cosy atmosphere, beautiful sun and clouds, amazing people around and friends that come all the way to Fiji from all over the world.
Couple shared their love story: "We have been together for almost 6 years. He took me to a restaurant on the beach where we had one of our firsts dates and proposed on the beach"

Im blown away by my recent New Zealand pre-wedding photo shoot with Danielle & Jarryd, such amazing crazy in-love couple! We had such a blast in our Auckland engagement photo shoot, such a honour to be their wedding photographer, cant wait till their wedding!
We met at Karekare falls and had explored around a wild secluded Karekare Beach with so beautiful landscapes, just before the sunset.

Fantastic time with Sophia & Jethro in North Auckland at their farm wedding near Mangawhai and Puhoi. As a wedding photographer, I love to capture beautiful weddings all around New Zealand and beyond, but farm - barn weddings have such a unique, freedom atmosphere with great spirit. We start getting ready in Mangawhai and then went to the farm at Puhoi, also ha an excellent opportunity to visit Wenderholm Regional park for couple's session with the bridal party, and finished at the reception under the marquee with 200 guests. It was such amazing day with a great atmosphere.
The couple shared their love story with the proposal: "After an alpine hike in the Milford sound, on a snow-topped mountain at sunset (with wine and cheese) :) AMAZING!"

Mary & Philipp
So excited to share with you a surprised elopement with Mary & Philipp. The couple come all way from Germany to New Zealand to get married on wild Karekare Beach. {can't even imagine how bride organised everything from overseas, what a surprise for a groom!}. Philipp was amazingly pleased. We had such a special time on West Coast Auckland fall and beach. There were so much love, care, and positive emotions!
When Mary contacted me with this idea to surprise her groom {he thought it will be just an engagement photo shoot and not expected to see the celebrant and two witnesses!}, I right away jumped in the opportunity to capture something unique and beautiful {risky as well, but I believed in this amazing story happy ending}.

It was unforgettable emotions and memories!
