Third time lucky! Great celebration Auckland City wedding of Frances & Chrisat Old St Mary's Chapel and Non Solo Pizza after few rescheduling during pandemic. It finally happened, with close friends and family, such a special and intimate event! We had a great time at couples engagement photo shoot before the wedding.

Couple shared their story: “We met 7 years ago when we worked as Baristas at Starbucks together.” The proposal was at mission bay where couple had first date.

Mantells summer wedding: Julia & Michael {Auckland photographers}

Im so excited to share with you recent Mantells summer wedding, when Julia and Michael celebrated their special day with their close friends and family. It was a honour for us Auckland wedding photographers to document special for couple moments with getting ready, church ceremony, photos at Cornwall park and reception at Mantells {Mt Eden}, place to be!

Couple shared their story: “We've known each other since Year 9 in high school and had a lot of mutual friends, but we never actually got together until third year of uni when we reconnected through our mutual friends. That was almost 7 years ago, and we've been together ever since :)”. Proposal: “Julia proposed - we were reminiscing one night while parked by our high school, then she proposed with a paper fortune cookie (alluding to an old inside joke) which said "Will you marry me?"

Darshika and Joneet: Colourful Indian Wedding | Church Ceremony {Auckland weddings photographers}

Why do I love to capture cultural weddings? Because they have rich traditions, warm and cosy atmosphere and colour! Like this Darshika and Joneet's colourful Indian wedding with a church ceremony in Auckland, NZ. It such a pleasure for wedding photographers to meet such fantastic inspiration. We started our day in Manukau, follow to the church at East Tamaki, then bridal party and bride and groom photos in Auckland Botanic Gardens and finish the day with the amazing reception at Pukekohe. Ladies had a chance to change their outfit and showcase their beautiful sari.

St Andrews Church - Stables {Matakana} Alexandra & James wedding {Weddings photographers based in Auckland}

It was such a beautiful day in Matakana where Alexandra & James get hitched surrounded by close friends and families in St Andrews Church and Stables - such amazing venue, where everything gathered in one location, such a paradise for wedding photographers. We been travelling from Auckland to Leigh, where our day started from getting ready moments follow to the traditional church ceremony, family formals, brief 30 min shoot at Big Omaha Wharf and great time on wedding reception.

The Stables {Matakana} have such a special country style atmosphere and cosy warm feeling.

Couple shared their love story: "We have been together for four years. We first met at Chapel Bar on Ponsonby Road on Sunday, 10th November 2013. I saw James from across the room and said "I am going to marry that guy". When we first met it was a world wind love affair. We spent 10 days together before James flew around the world to work in the Caribbean for 3 months. I waited for him and it was the best decision I ever made. He then quit his job and moved back to NZ full-time." How was made a proposal: "It was a Monday. We went for a walk after work and we were just chatting as normal, until James suggested a change in our usual route. He took me down to Herne Bay Wharf which is somewhere very special to him. We walked down and stood gazing out at the water taking in the beautiful view. After a couple of minutes I noticed that James was acting a little strange and asked him what was wrong - in that moment he looked at me and I just knew what was about to happen. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes." Such a breathtaking moment, so romantic!

Bracu - First Presbyterian Church {Auckland wedding photographers} Ilinke and Shaun

Ilinke & Shaun

I been really excited about Ilinke & Shaun's wedding after their special engagement shoot where we spent amazing time on one of the Auckland beaches {Ilinke's mum made a special flower crown for her}. As a wedding photogpraher I love to spend time with couples beforehand to better know each other, feel on ease on the wedding day and get some great shots of course :)! Couple's wedding took place on amazing day in First Presbyterian church with traditional ceremony and following reception in Bracu {Bombay, Auckland, NZ}. There was such amazing atmosphere with great families and friends!

Ilinke shares couple story: "Shaun and I met through friends. One day he invited me for a walk on the beach and a coffee. To this day this has been our favorite thing to do; it's a peaceful activity that allows us to connect and spend quality time together. ~In high tides or low tides i'll be by your side~" Their proposal was just amazing: "Shaun and I travelled with our family and friends to Wellington. I was getting admitted as a lawyer in the High Court of New Zealand. After my admittance we took a walk down the waterfront as the sun was setting; Shaun proposed at the love-lock bridge. There were bag pipes in the background by coincidence. He had a lock engraved and we threw the key in the sea and locked in our love. We got back to celebrate with friends and family. " Such a great and romantic story!

I love how couple incorporated their special tradition in their wedding day: "Shaun loves playing golf and i love watching golf. Instead of table numbers we have table names of the golf courses I have lived on growing up, Shaun's favorite courses he has played and the courses we wish to travel to together." Such original idea and I can totally relate to this as my husband Matt {second photogpraher} just loves playing golf. :)

Amazing day for amazing and truly loving people!

Happy future together!
